Great Shoes For General Wear & Working Out
I tried these shoes out by wearing them to both school and trying them at the gym. The shoes are very lightweight, and have extra padding and support to avoid foot aches and blisters. It took about a day to break the shoes in, but with no trouble at all. The lacing is great quality (i adjusted the laces because they came attached the shoe in a weird pattern). The only things I would say that keeps these shoes from being a 5 star is:1) The Traction2) The Appearance3) The Heel Secureness1. I would definitely be careful wearing these shoes in areas where there is low traction (such as rainy weather or general places that contain surfaces that are easily to slip on) for these shoes don’t have a lot of traction support on the bottom side of the shoes. I found myself having to avoid puddles because it has been raining for the past couple days, so just be aware of this.2. The appearance of the shoe is good but not great, the design of the shoe is meant for athletes and sports, but ironically enough the appearance of them seem a bit bulky to be sportswear. Generally sports footwear is slim and thinner to allow better athlete performance, but even though these shoes are lightweight, they seem to be bulky in size.3. The heel secureness on these shoes are pretty loose and allows you to easily slide on and off these shoes for your convenience which can be nice in certain scenarios, but when I am running I don’t want to be concerned about them slipping off on the back end of my foot, and I have tried tightening the laces and that tends to only help with the tightness on the front / sides of the shoe, but not the back.Overall these shoes I think will be great for general use and for activities that contain a lot of walking, but not so sure yet about using them when I go to the gym, but I will continue to use them and see how well they do when I continue to do cardio with some other intense exercises to see if they hold up!
